Terms of Use
Effective: 1 April 2026 · Last updated: 1 June 2026
1. Acceptance
By installing or using the Focus Guardian Chrome extension or website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of India.
3. Your account
- The Free plan needs no account — it runs entirely on your device.
- Pro and Ultimate are tied to the email you pay with. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure.
- If we detect abuse or fraudulent payment on an account, we may suspend or revoke its access. We'll notify you by email.
4. Subscriptions, billing, cancellation
- Free plan: free forever, no card required.
- Paid plans (Pro, Ultimate): billed monthly or annually via Razorpay.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime from the extension or by emailing [email protected]. You keep paid features until your current period ends; no further charges.
- Refunds: 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge. After that, no pro-rated refunds for cancelled mid-period subscriptions.
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Changes only apply at your next renewal.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension.
- Resell, sublicense, or share access to a paid plan with anyone outside your own use.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits or our payment system.
- Use the Service for illegal purposes or in violation of applicable law.
- Send malware, spam, or attempt to compromise our infrastructure.
Violations may result in immediate suspension without refund.
6. No guarantee of results
Focus Guardian is a tool to help you block distractions and build focus habits. We do not guarantee any particular productivity outcome. Blocking and anti-cheat features (including Hardcore Lock and the Wait-Timer) are designed to be hard to bypass but are not infallible, and you remain responsible for your own choices.
7. Intellectual property
Focus Guardian and all its content — including built-in guardian art — are owned by Sarvadhi Digital. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal focus and productivity, subject to these Terms. Custom guardian images you upload remain yours; you grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display them to you.
8. Third-party services
The Service interacts with our payment provider (Razorpay) and, on Ultimate, our AI provider. Their terms govern your use of them. We're not responsible for outages or changes on their side.
9. Privacy
Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms by reference.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service anytime by uninstalling the extension and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your payment fails repeatedly.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
12. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or business interruption.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be resolved in its courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
Material changes will be announced by email (for account holders) or on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
